"How do the P3s sound? Brilliant. They’re a punchy, exciting listen, brimming with vigour and keen to please. Low frequencies have a remarkable sense of not only weight but depth too. The P3s display a Messi-like sense of control: delivery is as precise as you could wish for in a headphone at this price."

"Decent-quality downloads or streams are reproduced well across the board, containing definition, clarity and punch where appropriate. Fellow passenger-annoying leakage is pretty good, while the small-ear-sized pads block out a good whack of background noise."

"The Bowers & Wilkins P3s represent another triumph in design and comfort. Like the P5s before them, these headphone look incredibly stylish and are quite possibly the most comfortable I've ever worn."

"B&W really nailed the design of the P3 — it’s comfortable, practical, and looks terrific. We also dig the sound; I’m sure I’ll be using these a lot just ’cause they’re so easy to listen to for long periods of time."
Pocket-lint - May 2012Read the full review
What we found most impressive about the P3s was the sense of space. The separation of bass, mid and treble is most pleasing and feels to have an individual separation – that sort of positioning when listening to a live band in some respects; this is stereo dynamism at its best.
